Crafted With Vision and Community in Mind
Chapel Bar is the latest venture from Christian Lehrmann, bringing his expertise from Tinie’s Mexican and Sidesaddle Saloon to Downtown Weatherford. Located in the historic Cotten-Bratton building, the space honors its storied past while creating a modern, luxurious Western speakeasy environment.

History of the Cotten-Bratton Building
A Landmark Since 1883
Originally built as a furniture store and later serving as a funeral home, the Cotten-Bratton building has been a cornerstone of Downtown Weatherford for over a century. Its chapel entryway, hardwood floors, stained glass, and preserved pews and pulpit stand as lasting reminders of its storied past.
A Thoughtful Transformation
Chapel Bar occupies the former funeral home’s reception entryway, overlooking the historic chapel space. The building has undergone an incredible transformation, reviving its architecture and restoring original elements while introducing modern touches. Luxe leather seating, curated local art, and contemporary lighting create a warm, inviting environment that transports guests to 1883, yet embodies the refined aesthetic of the modern West.
Historic Charm Meets Modern Western Style
This careful blend of past and present sets the stage for Chapel Bar’s experience: a comfortable Western speakeasy where guests can enjoy craft cocktails, curated wines, and Southern-inspired small plates in a space rich with character and history.
